At Tamaulipan Thornscrub we are dedicated to celebrating the beautiful, harsh, and rich landscape of our namesake. The tamaulipan thornscrub ecoregion transcends borders, painting south Texas and north Tamaulipas with sharp thorns & elusive jaguars, which live among the rustic greens of the mesquite tree and vivid yellows and reds of the prickly pear cactus blooms. It can be an unforgiving environment, and it has forged the people that live, work, and visit the landscape to be equally tough. The border between Texas and Tamaulipas has created seemingly disparate worlds, but those who love the thornscrub, are proud of it. Con Orgullo.
